West Midlands

15 October 2022

We are glad to say that Midlands Women’s Convention will be back in person this year - both East and West!

We will be hearing three talks from 1 Peter as Grace Holt teaches us. Our theme “Stand Firm in the True Grace of God” comes from 1 Peter 5:12.

As well as great Bible teaching, we will enjoy singing, prayer, refreshments and the company of other women. There will also be a huge bookstall from 10ofthose, so you can take a bit of the convention home with you.

We hope and pray that you will join us in the East Midlands on Saturday, 1st October at Cornerstone Church, Nottingham or in the West Midlands on Saturday, 15th October at Monyhull Church in Kings Norton, Birmingham. For those who can’t come in person, we plan to have the MWC talks online after the event. MWC is suitable for women aged 14 and above. Why not invite some friends to join you to hear the good news about Jesus!

Grace Holt is our speaker this year. Grace grew up in Birkenhead on the Wirral and has served as Women’s Worker at churches in Dagenham and Liverpool. She’s currently living and working in London where she is involved in ministry at her local church, Crossway Stratford. She loves getting alongside women to learn from them and encourage them in their faith, and she is excited about travelling slightly further north for the Midlands Women’s convention this October!

Tickets cost £15 each, £10 concessions (full time students, those on benefits, pensions). Booking closes at 5pm on Thursday 29th October (East) & Thursday 13th October (West).

On booking you will be asked to provide the names of the women you are booking for. You will be sent an email before the event with all the information for the day.

Please bring your own packed lunch. Refreshments will be provided on arrival and at the morning and afternoon breaks.
