The Northern Men's Convention
Not everything is straightforward for Christian men wanting to live and speak for Jesus today.
But there are some real encouragements, and for me the fact that hundreds
of men from the North meet year by year to listen to the Word of God, worship
and simply be together is a cause for rejoicing.
This time, we will be looking at the Book of Acts as we consider evangelism
and mission. They are subjects not designed to send us on guilt trips, but to
enthuse, equip and excite us as we are involved in serving according to God's
agenda for the world.
May I wholeheartedly encourage you to be with us for the day, but better still,
to bring a car, or even a coach full of men who will benefit from and contribute
to the day? The mix of ministry, seminars, fellowship, worship, bargain books
is designed to be of maximum benefit for men wanting to grow in their
knowledge of the Lord and to serve Him well. The Convention is designed for
men of all stages in spiritual maturity, from the youngest in his Christian faith to
the most mature.
