The Northern Men's Convention
Each year we seek to address real everyday issues that affect all men, looking together at what the Bible teaches.
This year we are thinking about work - something you may want to get away from as you plan how to spend your weekend! However work is where we spend a considerable proportion of our lives and even if we are retired or currently unemployed the challenge of work is never absent for the Christian. Work is where as believers we Interact closely with colleagues, many of whom do not know Jesus Christ and therefore it is an area of our lives with great opportunities for Christian witness and if currently not working there is still much to be done for the gospel.
We are delighted that Dr David Cook, recently retired Principal of Sydney Missionary Bible College will be with us to bring three Bible expositions to help us to be truly Christian in our working lives and beyond and there will be opportunity to explore more specific areas in seminars. Further on of the great benefits of these gatherings is the opportunity to meet with other men and encourage one another in our Christian walk.
